The Flying Guard is a tethered drone system designed for long-lasting surveillance.

It consists of a multirotor drone with high-performance sensors, and supplied by the Power Riser, the most performant tethering power unit of the market.

The Flying Guard solution offers an aerial vantage point to security forces for up to 12 hours.

Efficient

At altitudes of 50 to 150 m, the Flying Guard can cover thousands of hectares with day-and-night aerial surveillance. Our tethered drones are able to detect a human from 10 km away during the day.

Secured

Thanks to the optical fibre, the Power Riser offers drones secure data transmission. The Flying Guard can be used for surveillance missions with no risk of hacking, malicious jamming or electromagnetic disturbance.

Moreover, the Power Riser is the only tethered station of the market to be equipped with height-adjustable mechanical brakes. This ensures that the tethered drone stay captive at flight altitude.

Finally, the use of the system is very safe thans to its emergency stop button, security alarms ( voltage, cable tension, temperature…) and back-up batteries inside the drone.

Persistent

The Power Riser can supply drones with safe continuous energy for up to 12 hours. Thus, the Flying Guard is a suitable solution for long-duration surveillance operations.

Easy-to-use

Flying Guard solutions are easy to carry and to deploy. The entire system fits in 2 rugged compact cases: one for the Power Riser and one for the drone. An additional rugged case for control desk can be added in option (with 2 screens for telemetry and image feedbacks, and a joytick for camera control).

The system can be monitored and configurated in real time from a LCD or mobile app.
